SPORT HAS SO MUCH TO GIVE US

“To help people who are in a difficult situation live better through sports or physical activities thanks to the commitment of the partners of the Decathlon network.”

“Foundation Decathlon is a group of companies at the service of the collaborators of the Decathlon network, who would like to engage as volunteers in solidarity actions. Founded in 2005 from the initiative of Yves Claude, General Manager of Decathlon and of shareholders, it is based on the solidarity of the collaborators of the Decathlon network. The actions of our collaborators help people living in difficult situations to be reintegrated and to have better lives through sports and physical activities. The Foundation helps children, women, men, experiencing difficulties in their life. These are sick or mentally or physically disabled people, street children, youths from difficult areas, abandoned old people… Since 2005, our collaborators gathered around more than 230 projects in 21 countries, with the aim of using sports activities to favour the integration and insertion of unstable people.”

“It is with great pleasure that Foundation Decathlon supports Eric Danion, collaborator of Decathlon India, and his wife Nathalie, in their commitment in the association Paras Padma. The members of the foundation went there, and we heartily congratulate for the work done and for its hospitality. A concrete humanitarian project, the will to do better than just welcoming a child and suggest a training to the older ones. We hope that the next therapeutic area will obtain good results so that children can more easily improve via this therapy. Receive our encouragements.”
